Connect WordPress
Publish your articles automatically to your WordPress site.
WordPress is Adorea's main publishing channel. Once connected, your SEO posts are published (or scheduled) directly on your site, with a featured image, SEO metadata and internal linking.
How to connect
Adorea uses WordPress Application Passwords (works with WordPress.com and self-hosted sites):
- In your WordPress, create an application password for your user.
- In Adorea, go to Settings → WordPress.
- Enter your site URL and the application password.
- Save: Adorea runs a connection test (with 2 retries and a 30 s timeout).
Your credentials are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM. They are never shown in plain text once saved. There is one active connection per organization.
What you can do once connected
- Publish posts with a featured image.
- Assign categories (the connection's default one, or one per post).
- Send the meta description and SEO title.
- Compatibility with the Rank Math, Yoast and All in One SEO plugins.
- JSON-LD schema markup injected into the content.
- Internal linking to previously published posts.
- See the list of published posts and delete them from the app.
How publishing works
- Retries with exponential backoff (1 s, 2 s, 4 s).
- Timeout of 30 s per request (120 s maximum in total).
- Parallel publishing to WordPress and Shopify when both are connected.
Best practices
- Make sure the application password belongs to a user with publishing permissions.
- If you change the password in WordPress, reconnect in Adorea.
