Service pages

The pages that sell, and that Adorea links to from your articles.

Service pages are the pages on your website where you sell: each service, each product, each landing page. Saving them in Adorea does two things that decide whether your blog brings in customers or just visits.

Why they matter

Without them, an article can only link to other articles. The reader arrives from Google, reads, and leaves: they never see what you sell. With them, Adorea:

  1. Links each article to the relevant service page, at the point in the text where the reader already understands their problem.
  2. Keeps your blog from competing with your own website. Searches like "hire X" or "X pricing" should be ranked by your service pages, not by an article. If both target the same search, Google does not know which one to show and both lose.

An internal link to a service page does not just bring traffic: it also passes authority to it. The more related articles point to it, the better that page ranks.

How to add them

They are in Brand identity (/dashboard/brand-kit), in the Service pages section.

Detect them automatically

If you have WordPress connected, click Detect from my website. Adorea reads your site's published pages, discards the ones that never sell (legal notice, cookies, contact, cart) and shows you the rest so you can mark the ones that are actually services.

Nothing is saved until you confirm it.

Add them manually

With Add manually you can register any URL, including pages outside WordPress.

Describe them: that is what makes linking accurate

Each page has three fields, and the second one is the important one:

  • Name: what you call that service.
  • Description: what it is and who it is for. This text is what Adorea compares with each article's topic to decide which page deserves the link. The more specific it is, the more accurate the match.
  • Own keywords: the searches that belong to this page. The blog will not target them.

You do not need to write it by hand. With Generate description and keywords from the URL, Adorea reads the page and fills them in; you review and save. If you have just detected several pages at once, the Describe the missing ones with AI button processes them all in one go.

A useful description states the problem it solves, the type of customer and the scope: "Online store development for small businesses that already sell in person and want to open a digital channel". A useless description says "tailored solutions to boost your business": it cannot be told apart from any other page.

What happens next

In every article Adorea generates:

  • The service page most related to the topic is chosen. If none is a close enough fit, no link is added: a forced link to an unrelated service annoys the reader and does not convert.
  • The link uses descriptive text ("our X service"), never a "click here".
  • One or two pages at most are linked per article. The article helps; it is not a brochure.

Turning pages on and off

You can turn off a page without deleting it: it stops receiving links but you keep its details. Useful for seasonal services or ones you no longer offer.

Best practices

  • Register all your services, not just the main one: that way each article finds its natural destination.
  • Review the AI-generated descriptions. They are a good starting point, but you know nuances the page does not mention.
  • If you add a new service to your website, add it here too: articles that are already scheduled will be able to link to it.
