Connect Webflow

Publish your articles to the blog collection of your Webflow site.

Connect your Webflow site so your SEO posts are published to its blog collection. Adorea only publishes each article, never the rest of the site.

Before you start

  • Your site needs a plan with CMS and a collection for the blog.
  • Only the owner or an admin of the organization can connect the website.

Create the token in Webflow

  1. In Webflow, open your site and go to Site settings → Apps & integrations.
  2. Under API access, click Generate API token.
  3. Name it "Adorea" and tick these permissions: CMS Read and write and Sites Read.
  4. Copy the token. Webflow only shows it once.

Connect in Adorea

  1. Go to My brand → Connections and find the Webflow card.
  2. Paste the token into Site token and click Check token. You'll see your site's name and address.
  3. Choose the Blog collection.
  4. Check which field gets each part of the article: body, main image, summary, SEO title, meta description and date. Adorea suggests a mapping based on your collection and flags any unclear fields so you can choose. The title and URL always go to "Name" and "Slug".
  5. Under When publishing, choose whether the article goes live on the website or stays as a draft in Webflow for you to review.
  6. Click Save and connect.

The token is stored encrypted. Afterwards you can Test connection or Change collection or fields whenever you like.

If you disconnect Webflow, the articles already published stay on your website. To make the token stop working, revoke it in Webflow too (Apps & integrations → API access).
